The Archdiocese of Detroit has adopted Renaissance Star 360 screening assessments in Early Literacy, Reading, and Math. The use of Renaissance Star 360 assessments allows your child’s teacher to provide targeted instruction, intervention, or enrichment to your child based on his/her identified learning needs.
The Archdiocese of Detroit has established benchmarks for each scoring category that reflect archdiocesan expectations for grade level mastery. Percentile Ranks (PR) score ranges are included below.
Custom Parent Score Report. This report will be sent home after each Star testing window. Star 360 assessments are taken by your child three times a year. This report will include your child’s cumulative scores throughout the year and additional information about your child’s scores in specific academic domains for Early Literacy, Math and/or Reading. If you have any questions about this report, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
